Overview

A few years ago Mountain Meadows Charitable Trust (MMCT) was gifted a Mazda MPV. This has been such a blessing. It has been used for carry our video equipment up and down the country and in the day to day operation of MMCT and our community support programs (food bank etc.)

Of late our food bank has expanded with the MPV getting used 2 to 3 days a week just for this.

This is creating an issue for us. Because it is the only vehicle MMCT owns! When Revelation18 Media needs it we either have to shut down our food bank operation or use private vehicles.  

The other problem is. We cannot fit in all the equipment and personal needed to film and run live video presentations, documentaries or other programs around the country.

By purchasing a Van for Revelation18 Media, the Mazda MPV can then be used for our community support program (food bank etc.)

What this van is going to be used for.

There will be two main uses of the Van.

1. Live Events - to carry personal, video vision mixers, lights and stands, backdrops, cameras, tripods and sound systems needed to run, livestream and record, live events like outreach/evangelistic programs and health presentations.
2. Field recording - to carry the personal and the video equipment needed to film documentaries, interviews and other programs

Equipment need and layout of van

The van would be split into two areas. The front area would have a desk and monitors for reviewing video, editing, and switching video if needed. The back will be where the video, sound and lighting equipment is stored in racks

There will also be removable ramps to help load our equipment boxes, a light for working at the desk, lighting for loading and unloading, solar panels, shore mains power plugs, 1500watt inverter and batteries so we can work in areas without mains power and a tow bar to tow a trailer with extra equipment.

The van would have a hard floor installed and insulation put on the walls and roof.
